Hawzah News Agency- As he watched, a thought crossed his mind. “How strange,” he muttered. “Why would the Almighty let such heavy fruits grow on such fragile vines, while these strong, tall trees carry only tiny walnuts? Wouldn’t it make more sense the other way around?”
He leaned back against the sturdy trunk, lost in complaint and curiosity. Just then, a small walnut broke free from its branch and dropped straight onto his forehead with a sharp thud.
Startled and smarting from the pain, the man leapt to his feet and looked up toward the sky. “O God!” he exclaimed, half in pain and half in awe. “Forgive me! I will never question Your wisdom again. If it had been a pumpkin or a watermelon instead of a walnut, I would not be standing here to learn this lesson!”
A smile spread across his face as he rubbed his forehead. In that simple moment, he understood — even the smallest things in life are placed with perfect wisdom.
As the great poet Ferdowsi wrote:
The world is full of wisdom and lessons —
Yet we take from it only heedlessness.
And so, the man walked away enlightened — all because a little walnut had opened his eyes to the greatness of divine order.
